How to play Blackjack

  1. Players place their bets on the table.
  2. The dealer deals two cards to each player, face up.
  3. The dealer also deals themselves two cards, one face up and one face down.
  4. Players can then choose to hit (take another card), stand (keep their current hand), double down (double their bet and take one more card), or split (split their hand into two separate hands if they have a pair).
  5. The dealer must hit until they reach a total of 17 or higher.
  6. If a player has a higher total than the dealer without going over 21, they win. If the dealer has a higher total than the player, the player loses. If both the player and the dealer have the same total, it is a push (a tie).
